Privacy Policy

AEO Radar is a free Answer Engine Optimization scanner. We keep collection minimal, never sell your data, and lay out exactly what advertising does on this site.

What we collect

When you run a scan: the URL you submit, a hashed prefix of your IP (for rate limiting only), and the scan timestamp. No cookies set by the scan. No tracking pixels. No third-party analytics on scanned URLs.

When you join the waitlist: your email address and the section of the page you submitted from. We email you only about AEO Radar product launches.

Standard server logs: Cloudflare automatically logs request metadata (IP, user agent, timestamp, response status, region) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

• Strictly necessary — minimal preference storage. No tracking IDs.
• Advertising — when ads are enabled (Google AdSense), Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads as described below.

Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

AEO Radar may be supported by display advertising via Google AdSense. Per Google's policies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to AEO Radar or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Where data lives

Cloudflare (compute, rate-limit storage, served traffic) and, for the waitlist, Google Sheets. Both are subject to their own privacy practices. We have no additional databases of our own.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

EU / UK / Switzerland (GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email team@aeoradar.io.

California (CCPA / CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

AEO Radar is a professional / developer tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
